Nita "Nitz" Rejdik

Nita "Nitz" Rejdik is an entrepreneur, community advocate, and hospitality leader dedicated to empowering Filipino Canadians and fostering cultural connection. As Treasurer of the Philippine Canadian Chamber of Commerce (PCCC), she oversees the chamber's financial stewardship while championing growth and mentorship for Filipino-Canadian business owners across Canada.

Arriving in Canada as a caregiver, Nita combined determination, resilience, and the spirit of bayanihan to establish Sandbanks Cottages near Sandbanks Provincial Park in Prince Edward County. Today, her hospitality business serves as a year-round destination and cultural gathering space for multigenerational families and community groups, driving regional tourism and contributing to the local economy.

Beyond her business ventures, Nita serves as a Director at the Filipino Centre Toronto (FCT), where she focuses on community wellness, inclusion, and elder care. She actively dedicates her time to leading weekly arts and painting sessions for seniors, helping vulnerable elders combat social isolation, explore creative expression, and preserve cultural heritage.

Nita is passionate about uplifting Filipino entrepreneurs, creating welcoming spaces that bring families together, and serving the community with malasakit and purpose.
