Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and community-oriented individual to join our team as a Community Partners & Volunteers Coordinator. Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, this role will be instrumental in building and maintaining relationships with community partners, organizations, and volunteers to promote PCCC's mission and initiatives within the local area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with community partners, including local businesses, chambers of commerce, non-profit organizations, and government agencies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for community partners, responding to inquiries, coordinating collaborations, and facilitating communication between partners and PCCC leadership.
  • Organize and oversee volunteer recruitment efforts, including outreach, orientation, and training programs, to support PCCC events, projects, and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify volunteer needs and opportunities, ensuring that volunteers are matched with roles that align with their skills, interests, and availability.
  • Plan and coordinate community engagement activities, such as networking events, workshops, and outreach campaigns, to raise awareness of PCCC's mission and programs within the local community.
  • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of community partnerships and volunteer programs, gathering feedback and insights to inform future strategies and initiatives.
  • Represent PCCC at community events, meetings, and networking functions to promote the organization's brand and build relationships with key stakeholders.
